How to measure your Ideal Pet

To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.

(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.

(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.

Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

    This didn't come with instructions and I kept putting it in upside down. Then I figured it out. However it wouldn't stay in its holder, so I ended up putting some caulk on it to keep it secure. Now it's working great.

    Needed to replace one that had broke off. Solved my problem perfectly. Ordered a spare so I would have one on hand. My door takes a lot of abuse from 3 120lb bernese mt. Dogs. I've had it 2 yrs. And just now needed to replace a couple of parts. Love my door

    Unlike the picture, instead of the magnets being held in only by globs of glue, there now are holders molded into the underside of the plastic bar. It's great to see that the product has matured so that they knew it was time to get real.

    I have had this door through 4 big dogs and 6 little ones for about 11 years. Great product. This is the first time I have had to replace apart. They are durable.
