To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Great but overkill for what I needed
This door frame is fine and all, but the one i had was just as fine, all that needed replacing was the sides for sealing. The rubber was just worn out. I was able to disassemble the side gaskets just fine being held by one screw so why aren't they being sold? You guessed it, more $ from us buying the entire frame just to replace side sealing gaskets. It didnt help that the dogdoor insert item that this frame came on was crooked which led to the rubber wearing out on one side faster because it was getting the most friction. MAKE SURE YOUR DOG DOOR IS LEVEL!

Great product and money saving
It is so nice to be able to keep the same dog flap by replacing the outer seals that are in the frame.

Installed door in a wall and added a frame since wanted the door itself flush with exterior yet now with second frame can lock door from inside or outside.

Pet Door Frame
Bought our home with the Ideal Air-Seal pet door already installed. The seals were torn and damaged from age and the previous owner's pets. The new frame with seals fit perfectly and it's like we have a brand new door.

Great Product
I love the fact that I can purchase replacement parts for my patio dog door. It's been great for over 10 years but needed a new frame. It was easy to replace with the exception that it didn't come with new screws. One of the screws on my old frame had sheared. I found it odd that the company wouldn't include four new screws with the new frame pieces ... not expensive and would have made the client much happier.

Broken
First off I did order the wrong frame which was my mistake so I did have to order a different one. With that being said them frame arrived cracked. Packaging was simply a large manila envelope and item did not have any padding.

Exact, Easy Replacement
We moved the whole door when we bought a new house. The seal on the inside had worn from lots of canine action. Ordered a replacement, and it fit in perfectly. Make sure you know if you have a non-insulated versus insulated door to ensure you order the correct one.
