Tips, tricks, and treats for your ideal pet.

Your dog says fresh air is good for you.

Hey, it’s me — your dog.

The other day, when you left the room, I overheard the lady inside the glowing rectangle saying that fresh air is good for you.

And honestly? I couldn’t. Agree. More.

Fresh air makes my tail wag, my sniffs stronger, and my naps even napier. And it turns out, it’s just as good for you!

So, let’s make a plan.

3 ways we can get more fresh air together

  • More walks – I promise not to bark at that man.
  • More outside time – Backyard checks are super important.
  • More open windows – How else can we keep tabs on the squirrels?

But here’s the thing, human — I know you can’t always stop what you’re doing to let me outside. (I mean, you could, but I hear you say things like “I’m busy” and “Not again” a lot.)

That’s why I have one more genius idea to keep the fresh air flowing for both of us.

A dog door = more fresh air, more freedom

Imagine this: Instead of me staring at you with my best “please open the door” face (which, let’s be honest, is pretty cute), I could let myself out whenever I wanted.

With a dog door — especially a sliding glass dog door — I could:

  • Catch some fresh air whenever I need it (sunshine time = happy time!)
  • Do important backyard security checks (those squirrels won’t monitor themselves)
  • Spend less time begging at the door and more time wagging my tail

Wait, they make cat doors, too?

Okay, this part is weird, but I have to mention it. Apparently, they also make cat doors for sliding glass doors and even window pet doors for cats.

Why? No idea. The cat doesn’t even like fresh air. He just sits there and judges me while I’m out there doing important yard patrols. If the cat gets a door, I’m 99% sure it’ll just sneak outside, stare at nothing for five minutes, and then walk right back in. Typical.

Anyway, if you insist on getting one for him, fine. Just know I’ll be keeping an eye on that sliding glass cat door to make sure the cat doesn’t mess up our backyard operations.

Fresh air makes us both happier

Science (and my nose) says fresh air helps us feel better, sleep better, and even stress less. So, let’s make the most of it — more walks, more open windows, and maybe even a patio door with a dog door to keep the fresh air flowing all day long.

What do you say, human? Let’s go sniff the breeze together.

If you need me, I’ll be right here… just in case you want to go outside right now.
