Fits Plastic Pet Door (Original and Designer Series) with Round Logo on flap and Aluminum Frame Pet Door with Round Logo on flap.
To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Replacement plastic door
I bought a replacement plastic door flap because my old one was stuck open. The new one is doing the same. When Tater my dog goes in and out one side stays open about 1 inch. I think screw holes are worn so doesn’t stay centered. I have had the patio door dog door for five years and just now having this problem. I love this door! Would buy again.

Not as good
Not as good as the original. The magnet is not as strong and it doesn't always close.

Poor replacement
Screws were not included. Bar would not stay on & then broke. Flap doesn’t stay closed, it opens to easy & magnet doesn’t even work.

Plastic flap
The plastic flap blows open easily and there's a gap at the bottom. The magnet is not strong enough to keep it closed. Ugh :(

This replacement doesn’t fit exactly on door. It leaves a very small gap at the bottom. I was able to take care with a small strip of weatherstripping. Also, I wish there were color or tint options. The clear works but it would be nice to be able to attach a tinted flap to limit sunlight since my door faces west.

Doesn't Fit Right!
I've been buying the replacement flaps from Ideal for my XL dog door for years. Recent changes to include the screws and flap bar are fine, BUT, the flap itself no longer connects correctly with the magnetic bar, so the flap is flapping with the slightest of a breeze! Not good!

Worked perfectly
I have a 7+ year old doggie door and the door was almost half way torn off from the dogs going in and out. After noticing it was made by Ideal Pet Products, a simple Google search sent me to the website and I found the exact match for replacement. It was super easy to replace, about 5 minutes to be exact. I was pleased and now I know where to order another in the next 5+ years.

strong flap
I've had the ideal doggie door in my sliding patio doors for a long time and I just order the flap after a couple years to replace from dogs wearing out. I recommend this flap if you have multiple dogs going out the door. This flap replacement stays in place so the cold won't come in
