To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

When I couldn’t find a replacement for my very old Ideal Dog Door, I called the company. They told me how to order it from them directly. I did that and within in days, I had a a replacement. Ideal makes a tremendous dog door. They stand behind their product and their customers.

He flap doesn't last long
The flap rips quickly with moderate use. I have to replace it frequently. It came with my house so I'm either stuck with that model or buy an upgraded door with a better flap

We have two large dogs and two of these dog doors. They get a lot of use. These replacement flaps fit perfectly and take 5 mins or less to install. Don't buy cheaper replacements!

4 Paws up for the doggie door!
I installed a doggie door years ago when my German Shorthaired Pointer was diagnosed with Congestive heart failure. It was a Godsend for both Noah and for me. And 3 dogs later the door and it's flaps are still getting a workout. Thank goodness we can order new flaps when needed.
