To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Almost a perfect fit
Easy to install, and it seems like it should fit, but the pane doesn't hang straight down. It bows a bit on one side, which annoying allows a thin draft of air through the side. It's also a 1/4-1/2 inch too short, so it lets air through there as well. Still, my only reference point was the old flap left by the previous owners of our home who originally installed the door. That was so warped that this replacement pane (which I was thrilled to find!) is a huge improvements. And it's not yellow like the old one either (at least not yet).

Old style replacement dog door flap
I received a replacement dog door flap for my old style aluminum frame dog door. I received the flap quickly and was easy to install. However, the flap is a bit short.
