To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

A Bit Disappointing
Within 2 weeks of installation the aluminum bar at the bottom of the panel that the flap magnet is started rusting all over. The manufacturer did send me 2 replacement bars and I put Rustoleum on them. Time will tell. The flaps do not seal tightly - remain crooked at times. I had another dog door with all plastic parts and have to say I never had an issue. Would I purchase this again? Absolutely NO

Love our Pet Door
We purchased our pet door about 11 years and I have had to order replacement parts from time to time and Ideal Pet Products are always very prompt in getting us our order. The replacement slide is of very good quality as was the original one from 11 years ago and it fits perfectly!

Keep in or out!
Our doggie door only came with one lock-out slide, which is okay, except when I want to feel extra safe at night. Also, I expect it will help keep some of the weather out during cold Colorado winters. Two slides is ideal for us.

Super Large Pet Door
We have always had large dogs. Have used pet doors and have always installed and replaced when the years have taken their toll with the ideal pet double flap door. Our last purchase we had to up size to Super Size double flap door. We have been very happy with the product and service Ideal Pet Products has provided. I recommend them to my family and friends.

Ruf Weather Pet Door Cover
Nice door, wanted another to put on outside when we closed the inside so the dog would not run into it not know the inside door was on. I do think shipping is slow. Probably should allow 10 days to two weeks for delivery. Good price and well designed product.
