Double Vinyl Replacement Slide

I recently purchased the Ideal pet Ruf Weather super large pet door with dual flaps. I ordered extra slide since this door can use slide on both sides of the door. I am amazed with the dual flaps and insulating feature of the door, it is easy to install, a template with the opening cut and connecter holes is included. The flaps with insulating felt on each side is another great feature by Ideal pet. The magnets on bottom of each flap close with precision every time. I think this is the best pet door available!

I have 3 cats. One is a large male that I felt would not be comfortable with the smaller cat door opening. The unit was easy to install and looks good on both the interior and exterior. The flexible plastic weather flaps are too heavy for the cats to run through, however they are easily held up and out of the way with painters tape. I ordered an extra self locking cover to block the opening inside and out to prevent uninvited guests from paying an overnight visit.

When the dogs are barking up a storm outside, they come in and the door get shut using the double vinyl sliding door.

I ordered this product so I can have a second one. One for the inside and one for the outside because I live up here in northern Minnesota and at 25 below zero the air didn't stay out with one. I also put insulation between the two flaps and a door on each side to keep the cold air out. I've been using the door now for two years and the original flap works perfectly, I just needed a second door for double protection. Honestly, for the price, I think two doors should be included anyway since they fit on either the inside or the outside.

We bought our dog door 10 years ago and we recently needed an additional lock out slide. After calling customer service to verify the dimensions we ordered a new one. It was shipped the following day USPS and arrived about 3 days later. It works perfectly in our door. I am very happy with the service and product we received. My only suggestion would be to put the slide dimensions on the website in an easy to find location.

Pet door is much better than the one it replaced. Really helps keep cold out and the security panal Works better at keeping dogs in or out. Only wish the unit had come with two security doors. I ordered a second one and now all is well

So happy to have 2 new slider doors for my Ruff Weather doggie door. My Springer Spaniel broke the first one in half, just trying to get in to meet my guest....oh MY! So glad to have two now so it will be a bit of a puzzle for him to try and get past the 2nd door...maybe LOL. I was able to repair the original slider with a flat piece of PVC sheeting, just glued it together with pvc glue and it worked great, and it was even a bit heavier, and that made it slide down the track even faster. But, I do wish that these slider doors could be made of metal for a tough dog like mine. Even now he can get the old repaired door slid up halfway and tries to wiggle in when I've locked him out because of a guest. And that is 75 lbs of friendly fury that wants to spring and lick everybody to death! The new slider doors fit perfect, were shipped very quickly and the sales rep on the phone really was very good to find the correct slider door to order. I am so happy.
