To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Second privacy Door
When the Santa Ana Winds come to my area they blow both sets of flaps into the house and if I have the inside door in place they hit it, making a racket all night. Now by installing an exterior door the flaps stay in place and I can sleep through the night without the noise!

Cold Prevention
I purchased this so I could have a sliding panel on each side of the dog door. This helps keep the cold out better than the single panel. Well worth the extra dollars.

Perfect Fit!
We just purchased a new home with a built in doggy door but this panel was missing. The logo was painted over so I couldn’t find who’s product it was. Ideal Pet Products had the instructions on how to properly measure for a replacement and when it arrived it was a perfect fit!

A Perfect Fit!
We wanted to have a second door so we could close it on both the inside and the outside for added security. We love the system going through the exterior wall with the 8" tunneling effect. Needed the second door because we found out recently that our pitbull can ram the door out of place when at a full run. Great if we need her but not when we're trying to keep her outside. Only reason I gave 4 star rating is would be even better if door were more sturdy. Maybe made of a more durable material like carbon fiber.

Extra door fits perfect even when original purchase of unit was years ago . Not sure why they do not include two doors in unit.
