To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

A Great Pet Door! Just buy it!
I have but two pet doors from ideal pet products. I had to buy a second one because we moved and the sliding glass door was different. Both arrived intact in excellent condition. Please don’t hesitate to buy from this company. We bought the chubby cat version. Many small dogs could easily use this one. The key to the store is that you can lock it closed at any time. Rather than leaving your sliding glass door cracked open, you can save a great deal of energy by having this little entrance/exit.

LOTS of Use, still very durable
My slider is a bit off, so I have had to rig things to get a tight fit (not your problem), now that I have done this & sealed everything, it is withholding to cold very well, these doors are EXACTLY the quality I was looking for, I board dogs, average 7-8/day and they are constantly using this door, great quality, I went with you guys product as I have seen your brand in many friends homes & glad I went with your product

Directions and videos are great. I was able to install completely by myself. Everything needed was included. Only needed a pair of scissors!!

Damaged and not an "easy" fit as described
My door came with a nice crease dent on the side to the front but the box was in great shape? Tells me it was shipped that way. Also most sliders have a locking mechanism that if removed you wont be able to lock your door or you can self modify. For these two reasons in the inconvenience and cost to ship it back I've kept but more than likely will not order from you again. My Dogs like it
Sets up really quickly. doesn't seal very well, there are gaps, but i added the insulation strips and it helped a little better. My 2 little dogs caught on after the 1st day. I love not having to get up every 10 min to let them in and out.
