To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Original Plastic Pet Door
This is a great product. It is sturdy and easy to install. This is in fact my second door. I bought another since after 10 years the flap was opening in the wind more than I would have liked. It was almost the same price to get a new door than to buy the flap, so I bought the door and replaced everything. I think after 10+ years the flap was due for a replacement so I'm OK with this. Over time it might have contracted just enough that the magnet at the bottom was easier to open during a strong wind. Overall this is a great product and has carried us through 5 dogs who are very happy to have this doggie door.
