To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Works for a short while before the holes in the top start tearing apart
I’ve used this product for about 20 years. The holes at the top start tearing within a few months. I finally found a way to fix the problem. I glued metal washers over the holes on both sides, stopping the holes from splitting. If your part is defective, we'll replace it free of charge! Great but
the door has been discontinued so when this replacement flap wears out I will be forced to replace a 100% working door with a new one because they will no longer be making the replacement parts. If nothing else, they could have put the flaps that are left on sale so people could stock up, but nope, just get screwed some more and have to pay full price.

Replacement Flap
I ordered one replacement flap for a pet door, size small. It fits perfectly. The new pet door is completely different which would have made it necessary to cut more out of my door, so this was so convenient to just replace the flap! I ordered two more because I am so pleased.
