To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Replacement Flap
I have had the Ideal Pet door (small) for many years; I'm on my second one. I didn't know about the replacement flaps and I so appreciate being able to buy them for my existing door. They fit perfectly and look great. I ordered two more!

JUST WHAT I WANTED
A little off on the bottom, for some reason the magnetic piece won't stick, but otherwise does the job. Very happy with purchase, price, and delivery.

Needs screws
This is the only flap I can find that fits the door I have which is old. When I got ready to put the new flap in I discovered I did not have the right screws. Don't know what happened to the ones holding the old flap. Would be nice if you could include three screws that fit. I also need to order a whole new door because part of the panel where the screws fit is broken.

Replacement flap
The flap lasts about 3 to 4 years my 2 medium size dogs and one cat blast in and out all day and are not easy with it the flap ends up losing it’s shape and has to be replaced

Have extra on hand
Over the years I've purchased several doggie doors because the flap wore out/got torn with use. Was glad I finally was able to find and buy just the part(s) needed instead of the whole unit.

Flap Replacement
I've had to replace flaps several times over the last 10 years. I have 2 large dogs and they go through the doggy door running at top speed. For all the abuse the flap takes it holds up very well. Hint - I order two at a time so I always have one on hand.
