To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Glad that the part is still available, mine is 23 years old and still working. Had to replace the flap and other parts over the years.

The replacement flap fits perfectly and seals great! I only wish it came with a new plastic piece to hold it on as the old one is cracked.

About once a year the old flap will tear. I keep one or two extras, as this one is for next time.

Good quality and lasts
I've used the medium original size flap for over 20 yrs and overall pleased, it's great for multiple use dogs who go in and out many times a day. The only problem I've had the last 2 yrs was that the holes at the top of the flap are bigger than the screw heads, so an additional piece of material is needed when the screws are inserted.

A+ quality product
I buy these replacements about once every 18 months. My dogs put it through hell and back and it still holds up. After awhile the mounting holes tear but when you've got a rambunctious Boxer running through it at full speed 50 X a day, it's expected. Material quality is great. I've had others and they don't compare. Hope you guys stick around for awhile as I'll be back in about 18 months to order another.

replacement flap
This is our 3rd or 4th replacement flap, can't remember. The problem is the in and outs of 2 dogs and 2 cats. We hang the flap "just so" as per instructions, not too tight etc. but after a couple of weeks it starts to sag and hang crookedly so there is not a good closure with the magnet. Lets the hot/cold air in and out, otherwise it's fine for the animals.

Not a perfect fit.
This is the 3rd replacement flap we have ordered for our pet your. The 1st 2 were perfect fits. This one is not. No matter what I did it's between a 16th and a quarter of an inch too long. This does not allow it to close properly and it always has gaps on the side or is cockeyed. I decided to just live with it and I'm not writng to complain, but I thought you'd want to know. Not a perfect fit this time.
This is the 3rd replacement flap I have ordered over the past 10 and a 1/2 years. The 1st 2 were perfect fits. This one is not. It would appear to be between 1/16 and 1/4 inch too long. Just enough that it won't close completely, and leaves small openings on the sides. I've always been very happy with the company and customer service.I haven't contacted them about this flap, and just decided to to live with it.
