To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Dog door flap replacement
Perfect! However the plastic frame I bought was 1/2 hair too wide and only part of frame would fit. It’s the SAME plastic frame as my broken one. I had to rig the flap attachment on 3rd hole on my old plastic frame that’s cracked

Such a Satisfying Transaction
I installed the original dog door 15+ years ago. We adopt geriatric Golden Retrievers, and the dog door has always worked well. The flap however was clouded from year-round sun exposure. The new flap was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, installed easily, and is amazingly transparent. I'm so happy I made the effort to replace the flap.
