To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

So grateful I could find this replacement! I've had the dog panel for years and didn't need a new door, just a new slider door frame. It seemed the frame was just a bit taller than the aluminum door frame, but got it to work. I think it may have been a blueprint tolerance stack up. So glad for the replacement, thank you Ideal Pet!

Almost perfect
I was excited to find replacement parts for my old door and they arrived quickly. Unfortunately the frame is a not quite perfect fit and it took a little sanding down to get the frame in the door. Overall I'm happy.

Great product, no hardware
The replacement frame is perfect for my older pet door. I was rather disappointed, however, that hardware (screws or bolts) were not included with the package, so I was lucky that I could salvage some of the old and found some in the garage that were sufficient.

The frame was just slightly larger than the 1994 original one
It was not an instant fit, but with some WD40, I was able to slowly insert it.
