To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Easy to install
I ordered this part because my 10-year-old dog door (mounted in a sliding glass door frame) finally failed, with the flap pulling out of the frame. I wasn't sure this was the right brand, since I got it through a hardware store. When the part came, it looked almost exactly like the one mounted in the dog door I had purchased, but the plastic on this one is a little bit thicker. It took me about five minutes to remove the old frame, and about the same to install both the frame and the flap. My dog door is now better than new!

Excellent company, excellent product and service!
I've had this patio dog door for almost 25 years. The inside frame cracked when my 17 year old dog slipped and fell while going through the door. I was so glad that I could find a replacement for such an old product and not have to replace the entire door. The magnetic bar on the bottom is an improvement to my original part too! I had a little trouble inserting the new part and customer service was exceptional in helping me as I no longer have the instructions. Kudos to Ideal Pet Products for outstanding product support and customer service!

This fit almost perfectly in my door that is at least 4 years old. It's very nice to have a new frame, clean and looks so much better with just that change. Would have liked new screws that might have gone in better (without paying extra). Thank you, Janice for the great customer service!

Great value!
Have had the doggy door for about 5 years. The locking tab broke and I thought I would have to replace the whole door. I was thrilled to find out that I could buy a replacement par for just $10 instead.
