To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

i made a door through a wall using two dog door kits of this type. When it wore out I tried to find a replacement and it seemed it was NLA. I was so glad to find these parts as using something else would have meant re-cutting the hole in the wall.

Fit perfect
Glad to find replacement parts for my door, have replaced the frame several times. Bought the assembly back in 1997 and still in place. Mine has seen a lot of use, my dogs that I have bought the door for have long since chased their final ball.

Fits Perfectly!
It’s fits perfectly with a ‘Large’ 9x15 flap. I was able to replace my old discolored one and made the entire door look new again.

Old style product
Bought a house last fall. They had the Old Style door/slide/and flap, but needed to be replaced. Ordered them from Ideal Pet Products and everything fit perfectly. A brand new looking pet door and the works. Totally satisfied.

Pet door replacement
Needed replacement insert for pet door. Couldn’t find it on internet so called customer service. Not so nice, but eventually, found item. Delivery seemed long. It was a bit difficult to install in our twenty something door but finally got it to work.
