To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Replacement frame.
Fits inside the patio door frame just fine. I did not know that it came with the magnetic retainer bar, so I ordered one. So now I have a spare. I also ordered an outside frame which I didn't need. My error since the inside frame mounts directly to the patio door frame. Good service, although they told me 3 days shipping when it took five.

It is too bad that Ideal Pet Products does not sell the frame with a new flap already attached. It took some time to get the flap installed just right. Hope you continue to keep the frame and flaps in stock.

I purchased the IDEAL (Medium) Plastic Old Style Replacement Inside Frame (SKU: IFMO) to replace my old one which was over 20 years old. Screws are not included but I just used the ones from my old frame. It was very easy to install and fit perfectly. I am very pleased with my purchase.
