Note: A Magnet Retainer Bar is Included with Replacement Inside Frame.
To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Ideal Plastic Frame
The frame is high quality plastic, I did have a problem fitting it into my sliding glass frame, had to file plastic in order to fit it in. Not a huge problem just a note.

Screws do not come with this.
If you have to order this chances are you need the screws. Only info I found was to use the previous ones. I was replacing this because it broke where the screwholes are. No idea where they ended up.

Perfect Fit
We put our doggie door in about 20 years ago. Three dogs later, the inner frame was wearing out replacing the flap several times. Concerned we wouldn’t be able to replace only that part. I called the store and they said no problem. Fit perfect!

Frustrating!
Whoever measured this frame needs to try harder! Needed a heavy hammer to finally get the frame into the opening and then more frustration trying to align the screw holes. Very frustrating!

Part is an exact replacement. Be nice if it came w/ screws or all the parts to renew a pet door were sold as a group.

Perfect fit!
I have had this style dog door for 30 years. Only 2 sets over these decades. When the first was replaced, I saved the previous one to be able to use some of the parts. I primarily replaced the flaps. This time there were cracks in the bar that held the flap. So besides ordering extra parts to have on hand, I ordered the inside frame that included a new flap bar and magnetic bar. Fit perfectly and so easy to install. I feel like I have a new door. This size is perfect for my 2 different size dogs and the ones I have had in the past. SO GRATEFUL to still be able to get parts for this particular dog door.

I must have a 'very' old style
I must have a 'very' old style because I had to shave off some of the aluminum on the side (top and bottom) to make this frame fit at the corners. Screw holes were close but not aligned either. My locking panel no longer locks with this frame. It fits perfectly but the catch doesn't stick out quite enough to catch and I'm too worried to try to pull it out some to make it work properly. My old frame has a 90° turn on the raised support plastic along the sides just as the photo of the product above shows. The replacement has more of a 45° angle or something, but that's purely cosmetic
