To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Only company that had what I needed!
My dog door is a very old model and idealpetproducts is the only one that carries replacement parts for this door. I bought new replacement door flaps and they are also the only one that carry the size I needed! They are good quality and a thick, soft, plastic Also spoke with a lady there and she was very nice. :)

I'd buy a whole door if they had it, but you have to rebuild it by ordering the parts individually. Just glad they still make them.

Love Ideal Pet
I recently needed to replace the magnetic bar which secures the weather flap to out doggie dog. The first time it shipped it was lost in the black hole of the postal service. When I contacted Ideal Pet's Customer Service, they immediately made it right and sent out another bar. It was super easy to install once I was able to remove the old bar. Thanks Guys!

Strong magnet
I would give it 5 stars, but the door doesn't always come back straight and adheres to the magnet. Otherwise it holds good with wind and use.
