We want you to be completely satisfied with your Ideal Pet Products purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below.

Returns & Refunds

  • You may return items within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product purchase price (shipping charges are non-refundable).
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method once the return is received, inspected, and approved. This process typically takes 5–7 business days after we receive your return.
  • Items must be in new and original condition, meaning unused, in original packaging, and including all parts and accessories.

Who pays for return shipping?

We cover return shipping if the return is due to our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). You cover return shipping if you’re returning an item for reasons not due to an Ideal Pet Products error. These include:

  • You ordered the wrong item
  • You return a non-defective or undamaged product
  • You refuse delivery without inspection
  • You miss a scheduled delivery appointment

Partial Refunds

If the returned item is damaged, missing parts, or not in its original condition, your refunded amount may be reduced, depending on the condition of the item. The amount will be determined at our sole discretion.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, please return the original item and place a new order.

Return Shipping Recommendations

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your shipping receipt. Ideal Pet Products is not responsible for return shipments that are lost or damaged in transit.

Can I refuse delivery to return an item?

You can, but you will still be charged return shipping and a 20% restocking fee.

Can I exchange my item instead of returning it?

No, Ideal Pet does not offer direct exchanges. You need to return and reorder.

Contact Ideal Pet for a return label, and they will cover the shipping cost.
