To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Expensive!
Firstly, let me start with the positive. I love this doggy door. It is very well insulated, and the dogs love it. I even had an energy audit and when they took the infrared camera to the doggy door they said it was providing more Insulation than the rest of the door! However, after years and tens of thousands times the dogs run in and out through the flaps- the flaps have begun to start to bow and not make a good seal. So I ordered a replacement flap believing it was a set of two, but it’s only one. $41.99 for one flap?! So to Replace both flaps, with shipping and handling I’m going to have to pay $84?!? At that rate I should’ve just bought a whole new doggy door. The quality of the product is fantastic, but the price for replacement parts needs to be adjusted.

Good
The product is good and it keeps the cold out at our mountain home. Daily use by a med/large dog wears the flaps out in about 24 months. We've replaced them twice and will keep doing that since the dog loves it and they work.

Need to do my homework more before ordering
At first glance The door I ordered was 3 inches to long. But being made of a flat piece of vinal with some holes in the top I figured just trim to fit and punch some holes in it and bingo good to go. But when I took the old door off I found that there is one less hole in my door still no problem I am customizing it anyway. The vinyl door I removed was very special at the top besides the 5 holes it had some ridges built-in to hole it in better. I guess I am going to have to go back to the website and try again this time armed with more info.

My existing flaps were bent and filthy. I ordered the new flaps and it was simple to replace the old one and they fit perfectly and as good a new. I liked them so much I ordered a second set for storage. I highly recommend this product.

Expensive, but worth it.
I bought these flaps to replace our 9 year old set on our Ruff Weather pet door. If anything, these flaps seem to be made better and are crystal clear. I hope they last as well as our first set. Best door on the market.

Very best replacement flaps
We are fortunate to have bought the dog door with the large flaps "15 x 23 1/2". The door size is great for both of our dogs and now can't be found anywhere. The flaps we purchased are well made and fit! We couldn't be happier.

LOVE OUR DOG DOOR
We have owned this dog door since 2010, We had a different one that did no allow a tight seal and we had bugs getting in. This door not only is outstanding, but ordering replacement parts 8 years later could not be easier. We ordered the replacement flaps to keep on hand in case the others start to wear, but they are still in tact and being used with our new puppy!
