How to measure your Ideal Pet

To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.

(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.

(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.

Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

    We have had the RUFF Weather doogie door since 1999 and we love it. It is so easy to order replacement flaps. We have the Super Large and it is the prefect size for our Doberman's. Thank you for selling such an awesome product.

    Not only is our dog door amazing and weather proof, but to be able to always order replacement parts is major. We had ours cut into our wall, and we plan on always using it. We need to know we have replacement parts as it wears from all the use. Ideal Pet has everything we need.

    Pups are happy with new doors

    I just replaced the door flaps and felt liners (double flaps and felts)on our med sized door. The cold weather is kept out and the doors are flexible like they were when new so the pups have an easier time going in and out.

    This is a nice priduct to have. But your paying 30.00 for a 1/8in piece of vinyl with a riveted on piece of metal near the bottom.

    I have 4 large dogs going in and out constantly and the "doggie" door is great that they can go in and out on their own 24 hours a day to our fenced back yard. New flaps make the door like new again, and arrived quickly after placing the order.
