To determine the correct size door, simply measure the width (A) and height (B) of your pet.
(A) Measure the widest point of your pet's shoulder.
(B) Measure from the top of your pet's back (just behind their head) to the bottom of chest.
Pet door models have different size openings. Just make sure your new pet door's opening is both wider and taller than your pet's measurements to ensure they can comfortably pass through.

Replacement flaps for super large ruff weather door.
Replacement parts were shipped fast and installed very easy. Only drawback was they are clear and I had the tinted ones before. Still will work for what I needed.

Really used doggie door Replacement Flap
I purchased the 'Ruff Weather (XL)' Doggie door many years ago and was pleasantly surprised to find a replacement flap available. $35 for the flap is a lot less of a pain than having to spend $150 for a new door assembly. Installation saw fast and simple. The replacement flap fits perfectly on all counts. The old flap failed from being exposed to UV for many years and finally in a snap of minus 20 F weather it broke in two. CONs: The order page does not specifically state the measured size (only S through XL) and it is a good idea to get verification of the size in inches by writing in the comments section on the order page. ALSO the shipping package is large and flat and may need to be picked up at the Post Office. PRO: Fits fine! Super prompt delivery! My size comment was answered immediatly! Well made, thick and flat materials. Looking forward to many more doggie door years of use! ;-) John, a hampy cramper.

PRODUCT QUALITY
While the flaps holes at top of flap lined up for easy installation, they seemed crude and misshapen, along with being close to top edge suggesting they could tear out easily. Also overall length could be a 1/16th to 1/8th inch longer would then prevent a bottom edge air gap. Overall, very pleased with product and have ordered replacements in past.

I received the replacement flap and it's the right size of flap for my ruffweather pet door but it's not as long as the original it came with. The flap leaves a gap between the magnetic strip and the bottom of the flap . All of our products are warranted against manufacturing defects.
